About Us
Dave Cox is the owner and operator of Fact Finder Investigations Inc., which is located in Boise, Idaho. Fact Finder Investigations specializes in the defense of DUI/DWI/OWI/DUII cases and offers premiere defense information and services to attorneys and individuals across the United States.
Mr. Cox investigates criminal cases and works directly with attorneys and individuals. He provides DUI case reviews, specialized examinations and experiments, trial preparation, and expert court testimony. To defend DUI cases, Mr. Cox utilizes the ten National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) training manuals that are used nationwide to train police officers in DUI enforcement.
In addition, Mr. Cox is an Expert DUI Defense Investigator and works all type of criminal defense and civil investigations and Fact Finder Investigations Inc. provides process serving in the Boise area.
Mr. Cox is a decorated former police officer and devoted most of his time as a police officer to DUI enforcement. He has performed the Standard Field Sobriety Tests on thousands of people. Mr. Cox arrested over 1,000 people for DUI throughout his career, with over 200 arrests for DUI - Drugs. He was named the 2003 State DUI Enforcement Officer of the Year.
Mr. Cox was trained as a certified Drug Recognition Expert. He was certified in the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration DWI Detection and Standardized Field Sobriety Testing and was also trained as a certified operator of both the Intoxilyzer 5000 and the Intoxilyzer 8000. Mr. Cox was a regular speaker at Victim Impact Panels and taught DUI Detection classes at the Citizen’s Police Academy. Mr. Cox testified in hundreds of DUI trials and hearings as an officer and now testifies as a DUI Defense Expert. He now works with both individuals and attorneys to investigate, prepare, and defend DUI cases.
